How to Access Verizon Email

Verizon allows account holders to access their email in two different ways: through the Web and through an email client such as Outlook. If you use an email client , only new, unread email will be available in your Verizon Web mail inbox, but if you use Web mail exclusively, you can access emails up to 30 days old.

Verizon Web Mail

1.Navigate to the Verizon Web mail site (link in Resources).

3.Click "Sign In."

Through Outlook

1. Launch Outlook. Click "File" and select "Add Account."

2. Enter your full name, Verizon email address and password, and select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types." Click "Next."

3. Enter your name and email address again, and select "POP3" from the Account Type drop-down menu.

4. Type "incoming.verizon.net" in the Incoming Mail Server field, and type "https://emailhelpline.org/" in the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field. Enter your Verizon username and password in the appropriately labeled boxes and click "More Settings."

5. Click "Outgoing Server" and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."

6. Click "Advanced." Enter "995" Incoming Server (POP3) field. Enter "465" in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) field. Select "SSL" from the drop-down menu as the type of encrypted connection you want to use.

7. Select the option to leave a copy of your messages on Verizon's server if you want to also be able to access them through Web mail. Click "OK."

8.Click "Next" and then click "Finish" to finish setting up your Verizon email.
